What is RedCord Therapy?

RedCord therapy is a type of physical therapy that utilizes a unique suspension system to help patients improve their neuromuscular control, stability, and strength. The system, made up of a series of red cords, creates a low-impact environment that helps to reduce stress and pressure on injured or weak muscles and joints, allowing patients to perform exercises more effectively.

How does it work?

The goal of RedCord therapy is to restore pain free movement by improving the neuromuscular function of patients by targeting specific muscles and movement patterns. By engaging in these exercises, patients can increase their overall body awareness and functional movement patterns, leading to improved athletic performance, reduced risk of injury, and relief from chronic pain.

By addressing the root causes of a patient’s issues rather than just the symptoms, Neurac treatment focuses on restoring muscle coordination. Therapeutic exercises are tailored to the individual based on the findings in the evaluation to correct the weak links. Clinical experience indicates that reducing pain and improving function can be achieved within the first session.

We’re excited to be 1 of 2 clinics in Orange County that offers this unique neuromuscular program.

Success Stories & Testimonials

I have been seeing Julie at Sarton Physical Theraphy for a couple of years now. I am just leaving a session today experiencing such a tremendous release from the pelvic floor, thoracic and lower back pain that I felt when I came in today. I am so grateful, I feel like a new person; a new body for sure. Julie’s knowledge and technique surpass any therapist I’ve ever seen and the work that she has has done with me has made a significant difference in the quality of my life. I am beyond grateful!

They are miracle workers!! I could not bear weight on my leg without having shooting/stabbing pain in my pelvis after a lengthy labor and delivery. As a runner, I was worried I might have permanently altered my gait. I began seeing Dr. Nikita at 2 weeks postpartum, and by my 5th session with her, I was able to go on my first postpartum run absolutely pain-free!! My only regret is that I did not see them after my first pregnancy; I am now a firm believer that everyone should see a pelvic PT during postpartum and I could not recommend Sarton PT enough.

Sarton Physical Therapy is by far the best pelvic physical therapy practice I have ever been to. When I first started back in November, I came there being in a lot of pain and feeling very frustrated. I had been attending another pelvic physical therapy practice for 6 months and nothing had gotten better. However, as soon as I came to Sarton and met with Alexa, I immediately knew how educated she and the practice were in dealing with pelvic floor issues, which unfortunately I’ve found not as many practitioners truly understand.
